Sending Emails

JourneyFuse includes a built-in inbox for sending and receiving emails with clients. You can compose new emails, reply to threads, and keep your client communication organized alongside your trips.

Connecting Your Email

Before you can send emails, you need to connect your email account. Go to Settings > Email and follow the setup steps. Once connected, you can send and receive emails directly from the JourneyFuse inbox.

If your email is not connected, the inbox will show a prompt to connect it.

Composing a New Email

Click the compose button (pencil icon) in the inbox sidebar to open the compose sheet. Fill in:

  • To — the recipient's email address
  • CC — optional carbon copy recipients
  • Subject — the email subject line
  • Body — your message content

You can also compose emails from within a trip's Communications tab, which pre-fills the client's email address and trip context.

Email Templates

When composing, you can select an email template from the dropdown to pre-fill the subject and body with a saved template. Templates support dynamic variables that auto-fill with client and trip information.

Rich Text Editor

The email composer includes a rich text editor with a formatting toolbar:

Adding Images

Click the image icon in the toolbar to open the image upload modal. You can upload an image from your computer, and it will be embedded directly in the email body.

Inbox Layout

The inbox is split into two panels:

  • Left panel — a searchable, filterable list of email threads
  • Right panel — the selected thread's full message history

Filtering Threads

Use the tabs at the top of the thread list to filter by type:

You can also search threads by keyword using the search bar, and filter by agent in team workspaces.

Thread History

When you select a thread, the right panel shows the full conversation history in chronological order. Each message displays the sender, timestamp, and formatted content. You can reply directly from the bottom of the thread.

Email Signatures

Your email signature is automatically appended to outgoing emails. You can set a personal signature on your Profile page and an agency-wide signature in your workspace settings.
