Resource Guides

Resource guides are supplemental documents you can attach to trips — destination overviews, packing lists, travel tips, checklists, and more. Guides appear alongside the itinerary in proposals and the client portal, giving your clients everything they need in one place.

Creating a Resource Guide

From the Itinerary Builder

Open a trip's itinerary and look for the Trip Guides section in the left sidebar. Click Add Resource and select a guide type. Fill in the content using the rich editor, then save.

From a Template

Browse resource guide templates in the library panel (right sidebar of the itinerary builder) under the Guides tab. Filter by category or search by name. Click a guide to clone it into your trip — this creates a copy attached to the current itinerary.

Attaching Guides to a Trip

Guides are attached to a trip through the itinerary's Trip Guides section. Each guide appears as a card in the left sidebar with its type badge and title. You can reorder, edit, or remove guides at any time.

How Guides Appear to Clients

When a trip has guides attached:

  • They appear in the proposal alongside the day-by-day itinerary
  • They appear in the client portal as a separate section
  • Clients can view them without logging in — they are part of the public trip page

This means your packing list, destination tips, and important documents are always available right next to the itinerary.

Saving a Guide as a Template

To reuse a guide across multiple trips, save it to your template library:

  1. Open the save dialog from the guide
  2. Enter a name and description
  3. Choose a category (Destination, Packing, Tips, etc.)
  4. Select a visibility level:
    • Private — only your workspace
    • Agency — shared with your agency team
    • Community — submitted for review before public listing

Community-visibility guides go through admin review before appearing in the public gallery.

Browsing Guide Templates

In the Library Panel

The Guides tab in the itinerary builder's library panel shows available resource guides. Filter by:

  • Category — Destination, Packing, Tips, Info, Checklist, Documents, General
  • Source — My Library or Community

In the Template Gallery

Go to Templates > Gallery and filter by Resource Guides to browse all available guides. Each card shows the guide name, description, category, clone count, and author.
